Paris Gibson Education Center is a school for students who have a need or desire to reach their educational goals somewhere other than their traditional high school. Paris is a school of choice and students must have the maturity level to work and plan independently, as well as have a strong motivation to graduate. Mrs. April Senger has worked with Great Falls Public Schools since the Fall of 2000. Prior to that she taught science in a near by rural community. She has 3 Bachelors in Science in the fields of Biology, Chemistry and Broad Field Science Education with a minor in Mathematics. She earned a Master's Degree of Science in Developmental Learning from the Montana State University education system. Before teaching, research was her passion and she conducted numerous studies including cpDNA extraction techniques of the species Vaccinium Globulare, heavy metal uptake in the macro invertebrates of the Hughesville mine area, and development of DNA mediated vaccine for Salmonella typhi. She has worked in the college setting since 1994 and has been an Adjunct Professor since 2007 for Park University. She has also presented multiple topics at the Academy of Sciences including her Typhi research and a study of the bryophytes of of the Queen Charlotte Islands. Science and mathematics has been her love until she met her husband in 2001. With their family, they enjoy recreational activities and their cabin in Lincoln, MT.
